Ahriman is the God of Darkness and main antagonist in Prince of Persia. He was sealed away in the Tree of Life for over a thousand years by his brother Ormazd, the God of Light. He was re-released into the world by Elika's father and with the help of the four corruptions; Warrior, Hunter, Alchemist and Concubine he spread his darkness through-out the land.

The task of restoring Ahriman's prison falls onto Elika and the Prince, as they scramble to purify various Fertile Grounds which supply the power necessary to keep the dark god captive.
